Lawyers attended revived networking group

Newly formed PR/Marketing outfit Bella Ubiquity revived one of the city’s old traditions last week when they re-launched First Friday, the lunchtime networking event aimed at those working in the region’s property loop.
The soiree that used to be a regular fixture in the city’s business district attracted some of the cream of the city’s property media, agents, developers, lawyers, architects, and engineers alike.

Midnight garden party planned

Members of Liverpool's legal community are being urged to turn out for a fund-raising event in aid of the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.
The exclusive Midnight Garden Party will take place at the Palm House on Thursday, September 27.

Lawyers to speed up house sales

A NEW lawyers’ group dedicated to conveyancing issues is holding an event at Aintree Racecourse tonight.
Eleven independent local solicitors from Sefton, Merseyside, have set up The North West Solicitors Association (NWSA) to tackle the issues associated with moving home and to reduce conveyancing times.

Chambers to host conference

A WIDE-RANGING conference on all aspects of insurance fraud has been organised by a Liverpool barristers’ chambers.
In the first such event of its kind to be organised by a chambers in the city, 150 delegates including solicitors, insurers, claims investigators and barristers have been invited to attend the one-day conference at Liverpool town hall on October 18.

DIARY DATE: Minority Lawyers Conference

"MAKING A Difference" is the theme of this week's Minority Lawyers Conference, which takes place on Saturday.
The conference is a biennial event that provides a forum for black and minority ethnic lawyers of all levels, backgrounds and sectors, to express their views, and meet successful role models within the legal profession from home and abroad.
