            <description><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.atlanticchambers.co.uk/">ATLANTIC Chambers</a> today announced the launch of their Financial Provision team.<br />
 <br />
The team, specialists in cases which raise financial issues arising from relationship breakdown, are launching the new service at the Family Law Group Finance Conference on Friday October 2.</p>

<p>The half day Conference at the Hard Day's Night Hotel will include talks from the Atlantic team on The Effect of POCA on Ancillary Relief, Financial Agreements following MacLeod and Radmacher, and Current Developments in Ancillary Relief.</p>]]></description>

            <description><![CDATA[<p>A WIDE-RANGING conference on all aspects of insurance fraud has been organised by a Liverpool barristers’ chambers.</p>

<p>In the first such event of its kind to be organised by a chambers in the city, 150 delegates including solicitors, insurers, claims investigators and barristers have been invited to attend the one-day conference at Liverpool town hall on October 18.<br />

            <title>Ex Council Chief Jailed for Attempted Murder</title>
            <description><![CDATA[<p>Ian Harris, a barrister at Exchange Chambers in Liverpool, was briefed by the crown prosecution service to prosecute the trial of  the former deputy leader of Sefton Council, Edward McEvilly.  He stabbed  is 'love rival' 17 times with a sheath knife. The victim's injuries included his femoral artery being severed and his intestines were protruding through his stomach wound </p>

<p>The jury at Liverpool Crown Court convicted Mr. McEvilly of attempt murder and on the 9th July 2007 Judge Brown jailed  him for for 14 years . McEvilly had denied attempted murder.<br />
