BRABNERS Chaffe Street has appointed Lindsay Yateman as a senior associate in its family practice.
Lindsay, who joins from Chester-based Storrar Cowdry, is a specialist in collaborative family law, which involves four-way meetings between the couple and their lawyers where everyone aims to reach amicable agreements, without the added pressure of settling differences in a courtroom.

BRABNERS Chaffe Street LLP annouced this morning it will merge with Liverpool's Bremners Solicitors on May 1.
Eight-partner firm Bremners specialises in commercial and property law and acts mainly for housing associations and other registered social landlords (RSLs).
Founded in 1837 and now employing 30 staff, Bremners also works with a number of landed estates, charities, friendly societies, SMEs and private clients.
The combined firm will operate as Brabners Chaffe Street.
LIVERPOOL'S lawyers will notice the absence of work after the closure in December of the Merseyside Special Investment Fund (MSIF), its directors said last night.
But the city's legal fraternity should join the fund's directors in lobbying for a new North West portfolio that could be based in the city.
Lawyers and fund managers have been reflecting on MSIF's frenetic closing months as £24.9m was invested between April and December last year.
