New website for accident victims

Posted by Vicky Anderson on May 23, 2008 6:45 AM |

ACCIDENT victims can now see at a glance whether they are entitled to compensation, thanks to a new website from National Accident Helpline.

Hundreds of thousands of people injured every year lose out during their recovery because they don’t access money they are legally entitled to.

The new website, launched this week, boasts a downloadable guide to the compensation claims process.

The guide is designed to help users, who can print and keep it as a handy reference guide while they make a claim.

The site also features a unique, interactive body created with Flash technology, which can help accident victims see how much compensation could be available to them.

Alan Kennedy, National Accident Helpline chief executive officer, said: “We wanted the new site to give accident victims a clear guide to the claims process.

“Being the victim of an accident that was not your fault is stressful, so we wanted to make sure that the process of making a claim is as simple as possible.

“The money received from making accident claims can be a real help to people and families affected by accidents.

“Hopefully, we have made that process easier with our newly improved website.
