Kirwans Saturday surgeries

Posted by Vicky Anderson on May 21, 2008 6:45 AM |

MERSEYSIDE solicitors Kirwans has become the first firm in the region to launch weekend drop-in sessions offering free advice about property and family law, and wills.

Kirwans has launched the service to provide expert, convenient support to people unable to deal with legal matters during the working week.

Four of Kirwans’ most experienced lawyers will be in attendance at the firm’s Moreton office this Saturday morning (May 24) to answer a range of queries about civil law matters.

Senior partner David Kirwan said the firm had decided to extend its provision in order to meet requests for specialist legal advice outside of normal office hours.

He said: “Unfortunately, people sometimes get into difficulties after failing to take proper legal advice simply because they find it impossible to schedule appointments with solicitors during the working week.

“We felt that it was important for us to be flexible in order to provide a solution to the problem. We think it will give people who want advice about issues such as wills, property and family law to pop in while doing their shopping.

“We are proud to be the first firm to offer this sort of assistance and are confident that people in the area will find it to be of real benefit.

Along with colleagues Paul Hunt, Daniel Stear and John-Paul Dennis, Mr Kirwan will be at the firm’s office on Hoylake Road in Moreton for the first morning surgery this week.

If the surgeries in Moreton are considered to be a success, Kirwans will look to provide the service on an extended basis.

Anyone seeking information about the surgeries can contact Kirwans on 0151 647 3433 for further details.
