LIVERPOOL law firm James Murray Solicitors has been re-awarded the prestigious Investors in People award.

Assessors found that there was good morale among employees and that the communication between managers and staff was excellent.

They said the firm had a good business plan, there was a performance review in place for all workers and the practice had a culture of giving praise and thanks to it's staff.

Examiners concluded that there was 'no doubt ' that James Murray Solicitors, which was first singled out for the award 12 years ago, continued to meet the Investor in People Standard.

They also agreed that the Lexcel standard - the official practice management standard of the Law Society - should be extended until 2010.

The firm, which has 52 members of staff, specialises in criminal, civil and family law.

Managing partner Paul Fletcher said: "At James Murray Solicitors we aim to provide an excellent legal service to the local community and a good working environment, which benefits both the business and our staff alike."
