Top employers from throughout the UK have been honoured for their achievements at the prestigious DWF Employer Awards 2008.
The winners were announced from a shortlist of businesses at a ceremony held recently at the Hilton Hotel, Manchester.
The awards aim to recognise best practice in human resources and are open to all employers in the UK. They are judged by a panel consisting of representatives each of the sponsors and DWF.
DWF managing partner Andrew Leaitherland says: “Now in their third year, the awards have become an established event in the HR calendar and a showcase for best practice and innovation. The judges were looking for initiatives which have made a real, measurable difference to an organisation.
“This year once again they were not disappointed. We have seen some outstanding examples of HR practice. We are delighted to be able to highlight these and share them with others for the benefit of the whole industry.�
