JST Lawyers is holding a free seminar for property and construction professionals seeking to strengthen health and safety policies to minimise risk and comply with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007.
The seminar will be held next Tuesday (April 29) at Il Bacino on Brunswick Dock, and will provide guidance on how property professionals can reduce the risk of site closure, prosecution and the associated costs.
Last month, the HSE announced it had spot checked 1,000 refurbishment sites and stopped work at a third due to serious risk to lives.
Sarah Duncan, head of construction at JST, said: “It’s pivotal that developers and other construction professionals understand their obligations under the new regulations and what steps they need to take to comply with these requirements.
“Being able to adopt a holistic approach to health and safety management will help developers and other construction professionals protect employee welfare, profit margins and reputations.
The breakfast seminar will take place from 7.30am to 8.45am ensuring attendees can be at their desks for 9am. For further information or to book, email lmartinwright@jstlaw.co.uk.
