Securing Liverpool's economic future

In Capital of Culture year, it was fantastic to see the City of Liverpool so well represented by both the public and private sectors, all pulling together and playing their vital parts in helping to secure Liverpool's economic future.

MIPIM affords a clear and strong opportunity to demonstrate Liverpool's strengths and showcase its potential to the world. Continuing to attract high quality investment will be an essential element to Liverpool's continued growth, particularly in what are likely to be challenging times ahead for investors, developers and contractors alike. I, for one, am proud to have been a part of this.

The trip to Cannes is worthwhile for those organisations which carefully plan their activity for the week. As the Liverpool stand attracted more visitors than ever this year, it was the perfect opportunity to profile your own business, consolidate relationships and develop new ones that
can cement over time. Investing in MIPIM is something that the participating organisations take seriously, lifetime contacts are made, deals are done and the positive impact that comes from focusing on clear business objectives reaps its own rewards; not only for individuals and their firms, but for the wider City Region and its future success.
