MERSEYSIDE solicitors Morecrofts has undertaken a major recruitment drive, with nine new appointments at the Liverpool and Birkenhead offices.
The new appointments are a reaction to the company’s impressive growth over the last year, particularly in the conveyancing division where turnover is 25% up on last year.
New recruits family clerk Craig Gilfoyle, conveyancing executive Patricia Nicholson and legal secretary Lisa Stanley, join the team at the Birkenhead branch.
The Liverpool office will see the expansion of the conveyancing team with executive Peter Spencer. Also joining the teams in Liverpool are legal secretaries Sarah Matthews, Nikki Allen and Sally Stanway, litigation executive Jonathan Gorman and assistant court clerk Vicky Simpson.
Helen Broughton, managing partner of Morecrofts, said: “The company has seen considerable growth over the last year particularly in our conveyancing division, where new offerings like our HIPs service have really paid dividends. These new recruits will undoubtedly strengthen the company and increase the range of advice and support we can offer.”
Since the merge with Dingle Wright in Birkenhead earlier this year, Morecrofts continue to develop their property and probate, education, litigation and family law departments.
