NORTH-WEST law firm Mace & Jones has won a contract to provide specialist employment law advice to the Health & Safety Executive.

A team led by the firm’s head of employment law, Martin Edwards, will collaborate with the HSE’s human resources division on workplace issues affecting the organisation’s 3,500 staff in various locations across England, Wales and Scotland.

The contract covers advisory work, tribunal cases and training.

Mr Edwards said: “We succeeded in our tender to the HSE both because of our expertise and the recognition that we can provide value for money in more ways than one.
