BARNETTS Solicitors has appointed Michael Weightman as operations manager to oversee the teams of people and the processes in place at the company.
Mr Weightman 39, from Manchester has joined the top five volume conveyancer from Countrywide Property Lawyers, where he was property law centre manager.
He said: “Barnetts has such a fantastic reputation and market presence and working here will give me the opportunity to help maintain the firm’s position in the marketplace.�
“My aim is to be able to help the firm evolve and develop and my main objective is to help reduce the time it takes to get a case to completion, helping both the firm and the client.�
Joe Whelan, chief executive at the firm, commented on Michael’s appointment. He said: “The operations manager job role has been created to focus on people and processes.�
“Michael has extensive experience and knowledge in the management of people and the processes needed to run an efficient and professional business.
