FORMBY solicitor Alan Cunningham has been thanked for his role in securing a second helicopter for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
DWF asset partner Mr Cunningham provided legal advice on the acquisition.
The £3.35m aircraft is due to go into service in August following a fit-out to adapt it for use by paramedics.
The MD902 Explorer is the same type as Yorkshire Air Ambulance's current helicopter, which airlifted Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond to hospital following his high-speed crash during filming at the former RAF airfield in Elvington, near York last September.
Mr Cunningham, asset finance partner at DWF, who specialises in advising on aviation and shipping finance, added: “Advising on these types of transactions requires specialist knowledge and we're pleased to have advised on such an important acquisition.
